Cookie Policy

Version: 09/19/2026 · Effective from: 09/19/2026

1. Who We Are and Scope

This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies sitedote.com (the "Site") uses, why, and how you can control them. The Site is run by Edevos EOOD, trading as Sitedote, UIC (EIK) 205573828, 68 Saedinenie Str., Shumen, Bulgaria, email [email protected]. Effective date: 19 September 2026.

This policy is read together with our Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. When a cookie processes personal data, Sections 3, 4 and 6 of the Privacy Policy also apply.

2. What Cookies and Trackers Are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. The Site also uses similar technologies: HTML local storage, pixels (web beacons) and embedded scripts. We call all of them "trackers". Some trackers below are local storage records, not cookies, but they follow the same consent and management rules.

By duration. Session trackers disappear when you close your browser. Persistent trackers stay on your device for the period listed, or until you delete them.

By origin. First-party trackers are set by sitedote.com. Third-party trackers are set by other companies (Cookiebot, Stripe, Upmind, tawk.to, Google, Meta, Microsoft), which use them under their own policies.

3. Categories and Legal Basis

8. Unclassified Trackers and Google Tag Manager

Unclassified. The tracker twk_token_* (tawk.to inc., local storage, permanent) is being classified with the vendor. It will be moved to the right category and this policy updated once that is done.

Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Limited). It is a tag management tool. It does not set cookies or build profiles itself. It loads the services described above according to your choices in the cookie banner and processes only the data needed to load those scripts.

9. Consent: Giving, Changing and Withdrawing

First visit. A cookie banner managed by Cookiebot (Usercentrics A/S, Denmark) lets you accept all categories, reject everything except strictly necessary trackers, or choose categories one by one.

Changing or withdrawing consent. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, without giving a reason and at no cost, through the cookie settings link on the Site. After you withdraw, we stop placing new trackers. Trackers already on your device stay until they expire or you delete them (see Section 10). Withdrawal does not affect processing done before it. We keep the record of your consent for 12 months.

Strictly necessary trackers cannot be refused in the banner, because the Site's functionality and security depend on them.

10. Browser Controls and Advertising Opt-Outs

Browser settings. You can block, limit or delete trackers, and ask to be told when one is set, in your browser's settings. See the help pages of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, Opera or Brave. Deleting cookies also deletes your consent choice, so the banner will show again. Ordinary cookie deletion does not remove local storage records, so also clear site data.

Advertising choices. You can manage interest-based advertising with YourOnlineChoices (EU), the Network Advertising Initiative (US) and the Digital Advertising Alliance (US). We also honour the Global Privacy Control browser signal for opting out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising where the law provides for it.

11. Transfers, Refusing and Your Rights

Outside the EEA. Some vendors (tawk.to inc., Google, Meta, Microsoft, Stripe) operate outside the European Economic Area or use infrastructure there. We rely on EU adequacy decisions (including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or Standard Contractual Clauses with transfer impact assessments. See Section 6 of the Privacy Policy.

If you refuse. You decide freely. Refusing functional, statistical and marketing trackers does not affect normal use of the Site or access to the Services, although the chat may not work or may not remember earlier conversations. If you block strictly necessary trackers in your browser, some parts of the Site may not work.

Your rights. Your rights over personal data processed through trackers (access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent) are described in Sections 8 and 9 of the Privacy Policy. Send requests to [email protected]. You can also complain to the Commission for Personal Data Protection (cpdp.bg) or to your local authority.

12. Accuracy, Updates and Contact

We cannot fully control third-party trackers. The names and durations above are for guidance as of the date of this policy, and vendors may change them without notice. For current information, see the vendors' own policies or the live tracker list in the cookie banner.

We may update this Cookie Policy when our services, vendors or the law change. The current version is always on this page with its date.
